John Williamson is the club chairman and really there could be no better person to hold this position. John (and his family) have been associated with Barrow Town Cricket Club for more years than anyone can remember. John has undertaken just about every role in the club and was of course a player for many years. He has built on the tremendous work of his father Ron Williamson who was Mr Barrow Town Cricket Club. Under his stewardship the club has grown in stature and is a well respected club recognised for playing good cricket, developing young players whilst remembering that at heart the club is a village cricket team.
