Barrow 1st XI qualified for Leicestershire semi-final/finals day (I think this will be held at Kibworth on the late May bank holiday) by having the best net run rate having lost to Loughborough but won against Lutterworth, with Lutterworth beating Loughborough.

 

Tim Taylor, making his 1st team debut, bowled very well in both games, taking 2 for 12 in his 4 overs against Loughborough and 2 for 22 in his 4 overs against Lutterworth.

Tim Wise has arrived from Australia for the season and will play in the side at Wymeswold in the Joe Orton Cup on Thursday May 6th.

On Saturday May 8th the 1st XI travel to play Lutterworth who won the league last season by just two points.
